This month, our office launches the The Well: A Conference for Young Adults. We cannot wait to be overwhelmed by the presence of young adults coming together from all across the Archdiocese. This gathering of faithful young adults will witness to the hope that Christ has given all of us in His paschal mystery! We are counting down the days in anticipation of what the Holy Spirit will work through this gathering. You can see more details within the OMYA Events Section of the newsletter.
If some events organized by your local young adult ministry or your parish are not included in this email, please be sure to contact the Office for Ministry with Young Adults (OMYA), so that we can include them next time and promote them through our social media. ROME, ITALY
JUBILEE OF YOUTH PILGRIMAGE
The Jubilee Pilgrimage organized by the Office for Ministry with Young Adults will take place from July 26 – August 4, 2025 and is open to all young adults (ages 18-39). The itinerary will include a visit to all the major Basilicas in Rome, Prayer Vigil and Mass with Pope Francis, a day visit to Assisi (venerating the relics of St. Francis, St. Clare, and Blessed Carlo Acutis), and so much more!
This trip will be led by Archbishop Nelson Perez, Fr. Stephen DeLacy, Fr. Timothy Tarnacki OSPPE, and Andrea Mueller.
The initial registration deadline has passed, so we can no longer guarantee costs will remain the same, but the registration is still open because we have additional spots.

The Institute for Christian Formation presents "Foundations of the Catholic Faith: A Journey Through the Catechism"
The Institute for Christian Formation (ICF) at the School of Theological Studies (STS) at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary seeks to provide participants with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of Catholic doctrine as found in the “Catechism of the Catholic Church” and is an invitation to ongoing conversion of heart in the company of brothers and sisters sharing a desire to grow in faith. ICF has in-person sessions on eight Tuesday evenings each Spring and Fall. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of all four seasons. A new group will begin in January 2025. The cost is $270.00 per season.

30 Under 30 - Young Nouwen Leaders
The 30 Under 30 - Young Nouwen Leaders initiative is accepting applications for young leaders age 30 or younger from across North America. We will choose 30 leaders to be part of a special cohort.
This cohort will meet monthly with me and each leader will be paired with a mentor who will meet with them at least quarterly. Each leader will be engaged with some sort of Nouwen project that will engage their generation with the life and work of Henri Nouwen.

Christ in the City
Christ in the City is a Catholic non-profit dedicated both to forming young adults, volunteers, and the greater community to be lifelong missionaries and to knowing, loving, and serving the poor.
Ways to get involved:
- Join a Wednesday or Second Saturday Lunch in the Park.
- Contribute to our mission: Christ in the City is in need of donations, including but not limited to: socks, water bottles, food, and clothing.
- Have your Young Adult group sponsor a lunch in the park, by cooking a meal for the homeless and the missionaries.

● On-call whenever a missionary seeks help, advice and discernment.
● Available during orientation sessions.
